Dana L. Cler

Gifford - Dana L. Cler, 54, passed away on Thursday June 15, 2017 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL. He was born on July 22, 1962 in Paxton, IL to Glenn Robert and Shirley Carol (Siddens) Cler. Dana is survived by his siblings Glenn E. (Elaine) Cler, Debbie R. (Randy) Mullins, and Stephanie K. Cler; nieces Jessica (Dusty) Culbertson and Chelsea Mullins; nephews Joshua A. (Brooke) Mullins and Aaron J. (Jennifer) Steinke; and his cats Jack Robert and Fletcher John. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dana was an avid storyteller and he loved to make people laugh. He had an explosive personality that you would never forget upon meeting him. Dana enjoyed fishing as well as collecting antiques and souvenirs. He enjoyed grilling ribs and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, although he was not happy with them in their current season. Dana loved spending time with his friends Tim, Bobby, Steve, and many others. A celebration of Dana's life will be held on a future date to be announced.
