Damian M. Street

Rossville – Damian Michael Street, 51, of Rossville, passed away at 3:52 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his home. He was born on March 20, 1974, in Danville to Becky Street. He married Kimberly Dawn Fletcher who preceded him in death on February 12, 2014.

He is survived by three children, Tyler Street, Justin (Christine) Britton, and Jennifer Watkins; his mother, Becky Street; uncle, Mike Street; aunt, Virginia Koontz; special friend Juan Richardson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Damian had most recently worked in maintenance at Flex n’ Gate in Danville. In his free time, Damian enjoyed being outside and working in his yard. He was also blessed with a green thumb and liked gardening. Damian’s butterfly bushes were especially impressive and thrived under his care. He could also be found watching the NASCAR races with his beloved dog Sheldon by his side. Family was most important to Damian, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with them.

A service to celebrate the life of Damian M. Street will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. Pastor Paul Rebert will officiate. He will be buried next to his wife at Sunset Memorial Park following services. Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Thursday, March 26, also at Sunset in Danville.
