Dalton Wylde

Dalton Wylde, 28, of Westville, Illinois, passed away at his home in Georgetown, Illinois, on Wednesday January 1, 2025. Dalton was born on December 22, 1996, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Lori Wylde. 

Dalton leaves behind his mom Lori, his two girls, his girlfriend Madison Wheeler, brother’s Aaron (Stacy) Reik, Brandon and Evan Wylde, his nephews Chance Sutton and Brantlee Reik, his good friends Lance McCoy and Ashley (Will) Powell.

Dalton was preceded in death by two sisters Faith and Caitlin.

Dalton was a work acholic who loved to be working and learning about his job constantly. He had a great laugh and smile, when he was not at work he loved to fish and spend time with his family. Most of all his two girls where the light of his eye. Dalton will be missed by all who know him.

A celebration of Dalton’s life will be held on Friday January 10, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois, 200 East West Street from 5-7 pm.
