DALE OWEN ROSNETT Dale Owen Rosnett, 70, of Oakwood, passed away at 5:48 a.m. Sunday February 25, 2007 at his home. Dale was born on May 25, 1936 in Danville, the son of Eldon and Ruth (Lane) Rosnett. He married Geraldine Catlett on May 15, 1954 in Fairmount, Illinois. She survives. He is survived by his one son- Gregory Rosnett of Crescent City, California; one daughter- Christine (Sean) Cassidy of Champaign, Illinois; four grandchildren- Adrian Morehouse of Champaign, Andrew Cassidy of Champaign, Nicholas Rosnett of Crescent City, California, and Michelle Rosnett of Crescent City, California; and very special friends- Mary Ann and Paul Cline of Oakwood. Dale was preceded in death by his parents. Dale was raised in Fairmount, Illinois, graduating from Fairmount High School in 1954. After high school he joined the United States Air Force, where he served from 1954 to 1981. He was a retired chief master sergeant with the Air Force, and served in Vietnam and all over the world, where he was an in flight air fueling technician with the Strategic Air Command. After retiring from the Air Force in 1981, Dale came back to Danville. He worked for Advance Office Machines in Champaign, until he retired in 1995. Dale enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and being outdoors in general. Per Dales wishs, there will be no services held.
