Dale Hoshauer

Potomac- Arthur "Dale" Hoshauer of Potomac, passed away on February 26, 2016 at Country Healthcare Rehab in Gifford , Illinois. He was born August 7, 1934 in Potomac, he was the son of Charles and Mildred (Villars) Hoshauer. Dale married Marilyn Schmink on September, 26 1953 in Danville. She preceeds him in death as well as his parents and several brothers and sisters. Dale is survived by his son Bill (Renee) Hoshauer of Las Vegas, Nevada , daughters Su Takala of Potomac, Kathy (Jeff) Weber of Terre Haute, Indiana, Kristi (Garry) Hawker of Potomac, brother Carl (Flo) Hoshauer of Potomac, and sisters Barbara Morgan of Spokane, Washington, and Betty Vaughn of Champaign. As well as grandchildren Garrett, Shannon (Chris), Trent, Lauren and Hannah. Dale enjoyed spending time drinking coffee with friends, playing Euchre, watching westerns, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Dale was also a member of the Potomac First Church of Christ. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville on Thursday March 3rd 2016 from 1-2:30pm. A Celebration of Life service to follow at 2:30. Private burial will be held at a later date at Potomac Cemetery. Please join his family in sharing memories and photo
