Cynthia Jo Mcmasters

Cynthia Jo McMasters, 58, of Danville, passed away at 12:55pm, Monday, April 2, 2012, at Hawthorne Inn, Danville. She was born on August 7, 1953, in Clinton, IN. She is survived by: her mother, Mary Lou (Carl) Alumbaugh of Georgetown; her brother, Ronnie (Cindy) McMasters of Georgetown; her sisters, Carolyn (Dan) Pickering of Bourbonnais, Carla (Dave) Ramsey of Altamonte Springs, FL, & Elaine Martinez of Rossville; her several nieces & nephews; and many great nieces & great nephews. She was preceded in death by: her paternal & maternal grandparents and her nephew, Dustin Pickering. Cynthia graduated from Georgetown High School in 1971. She had worked for Olin/Flexal and was last employed at Bunge in Danville. She loved softball and enjoyed going bowling. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida. Cynthia was known to adore animals and also donated to many good causes. She loved being with her nieces & nephews and loved her family very much. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at 10:30am, Friday, April 6, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Walker officiating. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorials may be given in Cynthia's name to Vermilion Grove Friends Church.
