Cydnie Mason

Danville Cydnie Mason, 69, of Hot Springs Village, AR, formerly of Danville, IL passed away at 2:09 AM at CHI St Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR on July 8, 2023.

Cyd was born on July 30, 1953 in Danville, IL the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Keeslar) Pacot. She married James Mason on May 24, 2003 in Danville, IL and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Mason, her good friend and cousin Tony Pacot, and many close friends.

Cyd is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Bruce Pacot, two half-brothers Jeff Pacot and Greg Pacot.

Cyd received her masters degree in social work from the University of Illinois and retired from the Illiana Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2015. While serving our veterans, she was proud of her contributions to those whom served our country. In her youth Cyd participated in theater productions with the Red Mask Theater group, and studied at Circle in the Square in New York City and Second City in Chicago. Within the past few years she enjoyed watching nature, especially the eagles over the lake behind her home. Cyd was also an avid genealogist.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 15, 2023 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville, IL. David Laker will officiate.
