Craig Wilson was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving grandfather, and a man whose heart was always with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sorita, his partner in life and love, and by his three daughters, Ashley, Danielle, and Brittany, who meant everything to him.
Nothing brought Craig more joy than being “Papa” to his grandchildren—Madison, Carter, Rylee, Mason, Mallory, Robert, and Wyatt. He loved watching them grow, cheering them on, and spending time together, whether it was outdoors or simply enjoying each other’s company. His grandchildren were his greatest blessing, and he made sure they always knew how much they were loved.
Craig found peace in the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, and some of his happiest moments were spent doing what he loved, often with family by his side. Whether he was casting a line, sharing stories, or just being present, Craig had a way of making ordinary moments feel special.
Above all else, Craig valued family. He showed his love through his actions—by showing up, by listening, and by being there when it mattered most. His love, strength, and steady presence will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Craig will be deeply missed, but the memories he created and the love he gave will never be forgotten.
A memorial service to honor Craig’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Mahomet Chapel, 1102 Churchill Road, Mahomet, IL 61853. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Please join Craig’s family in sharing memories, photos, and videos on his tribute wall at www.susetfuneralhome.com.
