Cory D. Piehl, age 18, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Danville, IL. He was born June 14, 1991 in Urbana the son of Aaron D. Piehl and Cindy K. Breeden. They survive him. Cory is also survived by his bothers: Dylan A. Stocker, age 12, and Kaleb C. Stocker, age 7; his sister: Audrey Rose Piehl, age7; his paternal grandfather: Lee Roy Alligator Piehl; paternal grandparents: Ronald and Betty Bennett; and his maternal grandparents: Lora and Don Robertson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa: Marvin E. Butch Miller. Cory was attending Bismarck-Henning High School. He enjoyed playing his X-Box 360 Live, drums, and attending church on Wednesday nights. He really loved working on and riding his go-cart. Cory was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. What he wanted to do most of his life was be a part of the Special Ops in the United States Marine Corp. He had a great time being around people and spending time with his family and friends. A viewing in Danville, IL will be held for Cory from 2 to 4 pm CST on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the 180 building at the New Life Christian Center 2105 N. Bowman Avenue. Services will be held at 4 pm CST on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the 180. A viewing in Indianapolis, IN will be held from 12 to 2 pm EST on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Crown Hill Gothic Chapel 700 West 38th Street. Services will be held at 2 pm EST on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the Gothic Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
