Cora "Katy" Kelly, 83, of Fisher passed away peacefully at 10:45 a.m. at Tuscola Health Care Center, with her family at her side, on Friday, (Jan. 12, 2024).

Katy was born March 8, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Lawrence and Helen (Orfield) Perry. Katy started her family in Iowa. She became a military wife when she married George Scott, (1959-1983, 24 years). Katy remarried June 30, 1984, to Michael Kelly. This union celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Katy was a member of the Fisher Church of Christ, Fisher.

Katy's parents preceded her in death. Other family members in heaven are Louise (Don) Driskill; Baunadine (Robert) Foland; Carolyn Morey; Beverly and only brother, Freddy. Included is Sugar, the Shih-Tzu fur baby.

Katy is survived by her husband, Mike Kelly; sister, Linda Williams; Sparky, a Maltese fur baby; and her children, Diana Scott (Fred) Ferestad, Debbie Scott Hilliard (Darryl Foltz), Randy (Diana) Scott and Marty (Debra Tiffin) Scott. Katy loved being a mom and considered her children her greatest blessings.

Katy "Grandma Honey" loved and leaves behind many grand, great-grand, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Katie held a special place in her heart and life for stepchildren, Julie Kelly-Albin and Lori Kelly (Gene) Rosenbeck, along with their families.

Katy enjoyed Southern Gospel music, drawing and acrylic painting (family members have been gifted her paintings).

Cremation will precede a private burial of ashes. Condolences may be offered at Luxmemorial.com.
