Constance 'Connie' L. Saylor

Constance "Connie" Saylor, 81, passed away July 2, 2023 at St. Mary Healthcare in Lafayette. She was born January 25, 1942 in Wolcott, IN to Richard and Irene (Swaim) Latta.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Irene Latta; husband Jimmy Saylor; stepson, Jimmy Wade Saylor; and step grandchild, Mike, Jr.

Connie is survived by her children, Tammy Jones of Lafayette, IN, Brenda Moss of Savannah, TX, Terry (Marie) Christian of Lafayette, IN ; step-children, Mike (Kris) Saylor and Joy (Tim) Cheek; grandchildren, Sean, Stephan, Dante, Justin, Kayla, Erin, Jesse, Carsten and Kayley; great-grandchildren, Haleigh, Kyleigh, Amya, Claire, and Elijah; sister, Jackie; several nieces and nephews; and her loyal companions Sissy and Buddy.

Connie loved the adventure of treasure hunting via thrift stores, yard sales and all things repurposed. Being outdoors and tending to her flowers and garden brought her great pleasure. Though she could be a little ornery from time to time, Connie brought joy to any room she entered and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm EST on Thursday, July 13, 2023 with a service to celebrate her life following at 4 pm EST at Sunset Funeral Home located at 420 3rd Street in Covington.
