Constance Ann Love

Indianapolis Constance Ann (Spiering) Love, 88, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Traditions at North Willow in Indianapolis, IN. She was born on May 25, 1934 in Danville, IL to Wilbur and Cecil (Liggett) Smith. Connie married David L. Spiering on June 27, 1953. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1994. She married Paul Love on August 29, 2009. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2019.

Connie is survived by her children Tim Spiering, Matthew (Mazel) Spiering, Dawn (Bill) Dunkman, and Gail (Craig) Collins; grandchildren Brian, Amy, Morgan, Lexington, Kaileigh, Shawn, Kourtnie, Keasha, Keith, Haley, Brittany, Shane, Cara, Keontaye, Lucas, and Mitchell; great-grandchildren Elisia, Jackson, Harper Rose, Annabella, Sophia, Max, Trinton, Ryan, Evan, Landon, Mallori, Gage, Caleb, Isaiah, Elijah, Ezra, Jayce, Carter, Maelyn, Kai, Stella, Lexi, Darian, Cassidy, Kayla, Kaitlyn, and Jordan; step-children Donna (Jim) Purvis and Debbie (Will) Glaspie. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; daughter Peggy; grandchildren Ciera and Ross; brother John Smith; and daughter-in-law Cathy.

Connie worked for Second National Bank, Lauhoff Grain Company, Lakeview Credit Union, and Esco Corporation before graduating from Lakeview School of Nursing in 1986. She worked as a staff nurse at the V.A. Medical Center for many years. She was also a partner in the Tee Time Family Fun Center in Tilton. Connie was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, a volunteer for Carle Hospice, and a member of Lakeview Alumni.

Visitation will be held from 9:30am-11am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1930 N Bowman Ave. Danville, IL 61832. Service will follow at 11am at the church. Pastor James Yonkers will officiate. Graveside committal will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Connies name to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Alzheimers Association.
