Connie Sue Battaglia

Clinton, Ind. -- Connie Sue (Richardson) Battaglia, 53, of Clinton, passed away at 10:30 a.m. EST Saturday (January 20, 2007) at West Central Community Hospital in Clinton, Indiana. She was born November 29, 1953, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the daughter of Jesse and Marjorie I. Devins Richardson, Jr. She married Mike Battaglia on October 7, 2000 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Leslie Sconce and Felicia(Kevin)Siddens both of Bismarck, Illinois; one son, Patrick(Nicole)Sconce of Terre Haute, Indiana; one stepson, Mike(Jennifer)Battaglia, II of Clinton, Indiana; eight grandchildren and two step grandchildren; her mother, Marjorie I. Richardson of Perrysville, Indiana and one sister, Linda(Bill)Tryon of Cayuga, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father and her first husband, David Sconce. Connie was a homemaker. She attended the Faith Outreach Family Church in Terre Haute, Indiana. She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting. Graveside services and burial: 2 p.m. EST Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Miller Cemetery in Lodi, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Guinn Shinglton. There will be no visitation. DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
