Connie Ralph

Connie Ralph, 73, of Georgetown, passed away at 6:10pm, Thursday, October 24, 2013, at her home. She was born on May 28, 1940, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Arnett and Eileen {Brooks} Dixon, both deceased. She is survived by: her daughters, Jodi (Chad) Pridemore of Indianola, Karla (Sherri) Wolfe of Danville, & Amy (Robert) Fillers of Indianola; her grandchildren, Kala Fillers, Latasha (Frankie) Stanis, Nevan Grant, Shelbi Jacobsen, Emma Brown, & Carson Brown; her great grandchildren, Aalaina & Aadyn Stanis. She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Bonnie McBride & Shirley Ann Dixon. Connie worked as a waitress for MainStream Restaurant for many years. She also worked at American Legion Dornblaser Post #203. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was a pro-Wrestling fan. Westerns with John Wayne were her favorite to watch on TV. She was known to make the best tacos. Connie treasured her family, especially her grandchildren. A celebration of Connies life will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 4pm-8pm, Monday, October 28, 2013, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family.
