BRADENTON, Fla. - Connie Lynn Casey, 64, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away Thursday (Jan. 4, 2018) after a short illness. Connie was born in Danville on Oct. 19, 1953, to the late Robert Dale and Sarah Elizabeth (Smith) Boswell. She attended Danville High School and Danville Area Community College. She worked for Walgreens Accounting, retiring in October 2013. Connie was an avid reader and loved horror movies. She was known for her sense of humor and laugh. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend and loved by all who knew her. On Dec. 24, 2005, she married Donald P. Casey. He survives. She is also survived by her son, Timothy Anderson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her daughter, Cody Anderson of Lafayette, Ind.; grandsons, Nicholas Goodman of Lafayette, Ind., and Ashton Anderson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Susan Tabels of Oakwood and Julie (Ed) York of Williamsport, Ind.; brothers, Robert Boswell of Lakewood, Colo., and Mark Boswell and Charles Boswell of Danville; her aunts, Mary Ann Bergstrom of Peoria and Ellen Pilkington of Danville; and cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lilianna Grace Anderson. Per her wishes, Connie was cremated. A celebration of Connie's life will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the Danville Knights of Columbus 310 Bryan Ave. Danville, IL 61832 from 2-4 PM.
