Connie Jean Urbanski, 54, of Perrysville, IN, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Connie was born on July 23, 1951 in Danville, the daughter of Warren and Norma Jean (Wolfe) Jones Sr. She married Stanley Urbanski on March 21, 2000 in Perrysville, Indiana. He survives. She is survived by her father- Warren Jones Sr. of Georgetown; three daughters- Angel Watson of Danville, Jamey (Chris) Hundley of Tilton, and Becky Watson of Danville; two step-daughters- Shannin (Kevin) Sloane of Covington and Richell (Jerry) Vaghun of Noblesville, IN; one step-son- Shane (Heather) Urbanski of Rossville, Il; one brother- Warren (Jan) Jones Jr. of Tilton; three sisters- Dixie (Larry) Holman of Danville, Judy Cureton of Danville, and Karen Johnson of Danville; 19 grandchildren, one great- grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother- Norma Jean Jones; one niece- Jenny Staley, and one brother-in-law- Mike Cureton. Connie attended Danville High School. She worked as a CNA at Danville Care until 2005. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ. Connie enjoyed doing crafts and decorating her home. She loved animals. She enjoyed spending time outdoors doing different things like fishing and mushroom hunting. Her most favorite thing to do was going to rummage sales. She was a member of Moose Lodge #1001 in Danville. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the Southside Church of Christ, with Pastor Kevin Ziegler officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Burial will be held at Oakridge Cemetery in Catlin. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
