Connie Joan Deyarmond

Connie Joan Prior-Deyarmond, 93, of Champaign, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026. She was born in Newton, IA, on November 21, 1932, the daughter of George and Haxel Dixon-Prior. Connie married Robert Ernest Deyarmond on July 20, 1952, and together they lived in the Urbana and Champaign area for over 44 years before his passing in January of 1989.

She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Deyarmond-Hower and Joy Deyarmond-Rdzak, 5 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Crooked Creek Whitetail Estate, 13486 N 400 East Rd, Fairmount, IL 61841. A service to honor Connie’s life will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with dinner to follow.
