Connie Devore

Connie Devore, 73, of Danville, passed away at 5:31am, Sunday, June 5, 2022, at her home. She was born in Danville, IL on October 24, 1948, the daughter of William and Jennie {Davidson} Wright. She was united in marriage to William Bill Devore on September 7, 1968. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by her children, Charles (Anne Marie) Devore of Plainfield, IL, Cristie (Adam) Ondrejack of Fishers, IN, Toni Myers of Bartow, FL, & Timothy Devore of Westville; her grandchildren, Ashlyn (Nickolas) Covington, Lauren Ondrejack, Megan Ondrejack, Amanda Myers, Ayrika Myers, Zoey Devore, & Jonathan Devore; her two great grandchildren, Aiden & Brinlee Covington; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings. Connie graduated from Westville High School in 1966. She retired from USDA, FSA (Farmers Home Administration) after many years. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing computer games. She cherished her time spent with her husband, her kids, and grandkids. She will be lovingly remembered by all who adored her. A celebration of Connies life will be held at 12:30pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with Pastor David Leary officiating. Visitation will be held 10:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Danville National Cemetery.
