Colleen V. Youhas

Colleen Youhas, age 57 of Westville, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 9:11 AM at Presence USMC in Danville. She was born October 9, 1957 in Danville the daughter of George and Dorothy (Sharp) Youhas. Surviving are her sisters, Sharon Wolfe of Catlin and Terri (Rick) Nixon of Westville; brother, Gary Youhas of Champaign; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Nate Reitsma) Wolfe, James (Jill) McDaniel, Matthew (Neda) Wolfe, and Bryan Youhas; great-nieces and great-nephews, Malia, Brayden, Kaden, Brysen, and Brynlee; and her aunt, Delores Fratick of Georgetown. They will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and two baby sisters, Keri Marie Youhas and Sheryl Ann Youhas. Colleen loved all sorts of animals. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially "I Love Lucy". You could always count on Colleen to answer any sort of trivia questions, whether it be about music or TV Shows, she knew it. After her father's retirement, Colleen loved to go about town and to many different places with her mother and father and just spend time with them. Colleen was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville. Fr. Timothy Sauppe will be officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Westville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville. Memorials can be made in Colleen's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vermilion County Animal Shelter, or CARA.
