Cody T. 'Cody Guy' Miller

Cody T. "Cody Guy" Miller, 28, of Danville passed away at 4:48pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born March 28, 1990, in Danville, the son of Ken W. and Barb {Milius} Miller. He will be dearly missed by: his parents, Ken & Barb of Danville; his brother, Cole {Rob O'Donnell} Miller of Danville; his maternal grandfather, Leo Milius of Stateline, IN; his paternal grandparents, Richard & Judy Miller of Mishawaka, IN and Jean (Jim) Long of Danville; his two special friends, Joey Gummere of Danville and Zach McMasters of Danville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Doris Milius; his aunt, Cathy Milius; and one uncle, Wayne Milius. Cody formerly worked for Red Lobster, County Market, and most recently, Steel Grip in Danville. He enjoyed basketball, golf, camping, attending the Indy 500, and spending time with his family at The Lake of the Ozarks. Cody was also an avid Cubs and Illini fan. He was known to many as a very giving person and cared for others. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Cody Guy's life will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, with Drew Mentzer & Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 1:00pm 4:00pm, Monday, September 3, 2018, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
