Cody Joe York

Cayuga, Ind. - Cody Joe York, 25, of Cayuga, passed away at 7:09 p.m. EDT Thursday, July 3, 2019 at his residence.

He was born August 17, 1993 in Clinton, Indiana the son of Todd and Tammy (Brook) York.

Survivors include his parents of Cayuga, Indiana; brother: Eric Lee York of Cayuga, Indiana; maternal grandmother: Diana McBeath of Cayuga, Indiana; maternal grandfather: Gary W. Brook of Lodi, Indiana; paternal grandmother: Vickie York of Cayuga, Indiana; paternal grandfather: Leeland York of Danville, Illinois; paternal great grandmother: Faye DeAth of Mellott, Indiana and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cody was preceded in death by several grandparents.

Cody was a 2012 graduate of North Vermillion High School. He enjoyed watching cartoons, his dogs, nurses and being in the company of friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral services: 1 p.m. EDT Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Monday, July 8, 2019 at the funeral home.
