Cayuga, Ind. - Clifford L. McDonald, 84, a resident of Clinton Gardens in Clinton, Indiana and formerly of Cayuga, passed away at 1:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Clinton Gardens.

He was born November 3, 1932 in Watertown, South Dakota the son of the late Alice (Passo) Dummer.

Clifford married Shirley Mae Theis on June 18, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. She survives.

Other survivors include his children, Donna(Jim)Carson of Kingman, Indiana; Laura(Mark)Mikel of Perrysville, Indiana; Bill(Julie)McDonald of Bismarck, Illinois and Kathy(Darrell Edwards)Bee of Cayuga, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Gene Dummer of Chicago, Illinois; Wesley(Pat)Dummer of California and Lloyd Dummer of Tennessee, and four step brothers.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie and Bonnie.

Clifford was retired from the Laborer International Union of North America Local 703 out of Champaign, Illinois. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Covington, Indiana. Clifford enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, hunting, horseshoe pitching and shooting muzzleloaders. He was also a former Boy Scout leader and a current member of Thousand Trails in St. Berniece, Indiana.

Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. EDT Wednesday July 19, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana with cremation following. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana.
