Clifford Eugene Pribble

Dana, Ind. -- Clifford Eugene Pribble, 84, of rural Dana, passed away at 1:56 p.m. CDT Friday, April 1, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, Illinois. He was born May 29, 1926 in Georgetown, Illinois, the son of the late Bert and Katie Howard Pribble. Survivors include four nieces, Margaret and Esther Vandevender both of Dana, Indiana; Kathleen(Russell)Hawn of Cayuga, Indiana and Irene(Gayle)Dixon of Dana, Indiana; two nephews, Leroy(Elizabeth)Vandevender of Hudsonville, Illinois and Charles(Mary)Vandevender of Dana, Indiana. He was preceded in death by three sisters, three brothers, three nieces and one nephew. Clifford was a farmer in the Dana area for many years. He was a veteran of W.W. II serving with the United States Army. He was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Post 263. He enjoyed working on engines, woodworking and crossword puzzles.
