Claudia Lois Chaney

Champaign - Claudia Lois Chaney, 65, passed away on Saturday July 9, 2016 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL. She was born on October 25, 1950 in Champaign, IL to Marion and Lois (Cox) Brownfield. Claudia married Clarence Chaney on February 18, 1980 in Champaign. Claudia is survived by her son Jason (Heather) Chaney; daughters Shanta Chaney and Pamela (Marvin) Harris; grandchildren Brianna, Brennen, and Braylen Chaney, Kayden Smoot, and Ashley Brownfield; and great-grandchild Kyren Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Mark Brownfield, and sister Sherry Jones. Claudia loved her family and her job, and she especially loved spending time with her grandbabies. Cremation rites have been allotted through Sunset Funeral Home 710 N. Neil Street Champaign, IL. Memorial donations may be made in Claudia's name to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
