Claudia K Morris

Claudia K. Morris, 63, of Covington, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord at 1:05pm, Monday, June 1, 2020, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East, Lafayette, Indiana. She was born on June 30, 1956, in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Donald and Patricia {Holland} Woodrow, both deceased.

Claudia is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Morris, Abbey Morris, & Alex Morris, all of Covington; her brothers, Don Woodrow of Covington & Chad Woodrow of Lafayette; her sisters, Anita Fairchild of Covington, Jane Foster of N. Salem, Cindy Woodrow of Danville, & Shelia Woodrow of Covington; her grandchildren, Chloe, Arianna, Evan, Emma, Kaylee, and many nieces & nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Scott Woodrow, and her sister, Rhonda Cooper.

Claudia worked for the Covington Community Schools for 16 years. She was recognized by many as a hard worker, as well as a selfless individual. She was known for her compassion and would do anything for anyone. Her memory will be remembered by many whose lives she touched.

A celebration of Claudias life will be held at 2:00pm (EST), Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the First Assembly of God, 421 Market Street, Covington, IN 47932 with Pastor Robert Fairchild officiating. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Visitation will be held from 1pm-2pm on Thursday at the Church prior to her service. She will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington.
