Claudia 'Clyde' J. Hamilton

Claudia "Clyde" J. Hamilton, 51, of Danville passed away at 8:10 pm on Wednesday April 7, 2004 at her home in Danville. She was born on May 17, 1952 the daughter of William and Marjorie Crosser Maier in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was married to Ronald Hamilton on April 2, 1999 in Danville and he survives. Survivors include her father: William Maier of Norfolk, VA, her mother: Marjorie (Lionel) Apana of Waianae, Hawaii, one son: Jason Heilman of Danville, two brothers: Patrick Maier of San Diego, CA and William F. (Shana) Maier of Chula Vista, CA, one sister: Pamela Maier of Irvin, CA, one niece: Shaila Maier of Chula Vista, CA, as well as special friends: Kathy (Donald) Hible of Fairmount, IL, Shirlee (Marvin Earlywine) Stettler of Danville and Melony Urbanski of Tilton. "Clyde" was a Caseworker for the Illinois Department of Human Services in Danville for over 16 years. She was a high-spirited person and spoke her mind. Once someone met her she was unforgettable. She enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards, especially Poker and Euchre, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her cats, Whiskers and Max. As per her wishes there will be no services at this time and a Memorial Celebration will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Jason Heilman Fund at the First Illinois Credit Union in Danville or Danville Carle Hospice. Sunset Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
