Claud E Sibley

Claud E. Sibley, 86, of Rantoul, IL went to be with lord on Monday, June 3, 2024 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL.

He was born January 10, 1938 in McComb, Mississippi, the eldest son of Burnell and Cornelia (Jenkins) Sibley.   He married Virginia Orington on August 28, 1997 in Urbana, IL.  She survives.

He leaves to cherish him many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and loving family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Claude was a pressman for many years.  He also worked as custodian at Rantoul Township High School.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rantoul.

He loved to fix things for people and enjoyed painting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 on Friday, June 28 at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul, IL.  Rev. Robert Freeman will officiate.

A repass will be held immediately following at the Gathering Place, 200 South Century, Rantoul.
