Cindy 'Bann' Sorrell

Cindy Bann Sorrell 42, of Terra Haute, IN, passed away at 12:05 P.M. Thursday May 7, 2009 at her home. She was born October 3, 1966 in Westville, the beloved daughter of John and Barbara Dowers Bann. She was married to Glen Sorrell for nine years. Cindy was raised in Westville where her mother still lives. Her father preceded her in death in 2005. Cindy was gifted in so many ways in computers and hobbies you name it she could do it; she could take a regular home and make it look like a mansion. She had three children that died at birth, Dustin, Stormie and Brandi Sorrell. Her dream was to be a mother but it wasnt to be. She is survived by one sister and two brothers; Alice Wright of Gepp, Arkansas, Earl Henderson of Danville and Steve and Pat Henderson of Georgetown, Several Nieces and Nephews close to her heart including Jamie, Nickie and Chris she loved them all very much, also her aunts Linda and Phil Harrier of Covington, Carolyn Neild of Georgetown, Shirley Hughes of Westville, her uncle Richard and Francine Dowers of Westville and loads of cousins she cared for, and her Aunt Alice and Bob Plew of Paris, Il, and Paul and Joni Sorrell and family of Griffin, In, she was preceded by a sister Debra Henderson and Grandparents George and Mabel Dowers, also Jamies son Justin, also two uncles George and Donald Dowers and a host of uncles and aunts and her grandma Louise Bann that she loved so much. A celebration of life funeral service for Cindy will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Sunsets Urbas Chapel of Westville with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery.
