Cinda Richards

Danville- Cinda Richards, 68, of Danville, passed away on June 16, 2014 at 12:35 PM at Gardenview Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Cinda was born on October 4, 1945 in Danville, the daughter of Edward and Lucille (Holycross) Horn. She married Thomas Donaldson and then later Larry Richards who both preceded her in death. She will be deeply missed by sons, Mike (Robin) Ryan of Alabama, Larry Ryan of Georgetown, IL daughter, Sheri Schmink of Gurnee, IL, stepdaughter, Robin Hires of Georgetown, IL, stepson, Robert Richards of Pennsylvania, sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Cinda was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and one sister Betty Haton. She was a graduate of Danville High School and worked at Walgreens Dispersing as an accountant before retiring in 2008. Cinda was an avid Cubs fan, loved gardening, Indian “pow wows” and weiner dogs. A celebration of Cindas life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville with Pastor Jim Blue officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
