Bismarck- Charles W. "Chuck- Huckmeister" Haga 50, of Bismarck passed away at 10:51 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 21, 2016) at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Chuck was born on Jan. 9, 1966 in Danville, he was the son of Charles D. and Flora Faye Trosper Haga. He first married Paula Harden and to this union was born a daughter Chelsi, and he later married Andrea Jackson on May 13, 1995 in Danville and to this union was born a daughter Shelbi. Surviving are his parents; Emery and Faye Johnson of Danville and his step-mother Verna Haga of Cayuga, IN. A grandfather Alford Johnson of Danville. His loving wife Andrea of Bismarck and his 2 girls Chelsi (Brendan Hafner) Haga of Fithian, IL and Shelbi Haga of Bismarck, IL. 3 brothers; Kevin (Terri) Haga of Danville, Bill (Brina) Haga of Evansville, IN, and Emery (Laurie) Johnson of Danville. 3 sisters; Melinda Johnson of Danville, DeAnn Haga-Starns of Cayuga, IN, and Ginger (Scott) Hord of Danville. Also surviving are his father and mother in law; Robert and Cheryl Jackson of Bismarck, and his sister in law Angela (Billy) Caudill of Oakwood as well as several nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his father Charles D. Haga. Chuck owned and operated Apparel Unlimited Inc. which consisted of 3 separate business entities; Apparel Unlimited, Red Wing Shoes, and California Tanning Salon. Chuck loved racing stock cars, plowing snow, coaching, and most of all spending time with his 2 girls. Chuck was known by all as a jokester and a charmer. He touched many lives and those who knew him well, knew he was truly one of a kind. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sat. Feb. 27th at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Beckie Cronkhite. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday Feb. 26th at the funeral home. The family requests that if you have a racing shirt or a T-Shirt that he printed please wear it to visitation. Following the service, it is Chuck's wish to be cremated.
