Christopher Wood

Cayuga, Ind. - Christopher Wood, 18, of Cayuga passed away at 7:16 p.m. EDT Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Chris was born January 5, 2001 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of John Robert and Stephanie Jo (White) Wood.

Along with his parents, Chris is survived by seven sisters: Natalie Williams, Amber Wood, and Ashley Wood all of Bloomfield, Indiana, Alexas Hicks of Martinsville, Indiana, Madison Wood and Brooklyn Wood both of Cayuga, Indiana and Lindsey Taylor of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother: John Robert Wood Jr. of Bloomfield, Indiana along with several nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by one sister: Natasha Wood; an Aunt: Laura Meadows and two uncles: Timothy Wood and Clint Meadows.

Chris had attended North Vermillion High School. He enjoyed fishing, basketball, skateboarding and loved spending time with his sisters and his friends.

At the request of the family, cremation has been accorded. Memorial service: 2 p.m. EDT Saturday, October 5, 2019 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Keith Warner.
