Christopher Miller

Christopher C. Chris Miller, 28, of Peoria IL, formerly of Danville, passed away unexpectedly at 7:59am on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1980, in Danville, the son of Patrick T. and Mary Anne (Nelson) Miller. Chris leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Mary Ann and Terry Acord, of Danville, his sister Joann Miller, of Danville, two stepbrothers, Jerry L. (Debbie) Acord of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Mark (Jodi) Acord of Tulsa, OK. His paternal grandmother, Nancy Miller, of Perrysville, IN, step-grandmother, Mary L. Acord of Westville, his aunt and uncle, Carolyn and Don Whetstone, of Danville, along with several others of his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chris also leaves behind many friends in the Danville and Peoria area, especially, Debbie and Todd Kent, which were Chriss Peoria Parents. He was fun loving and lived life to the fullest. Chris never met a stranger, and loved to talk about the St. Louis Cardinals. He is loved by many and will be dearly missed. His father Patrick, grandfathers, William Cloyd Miller, Frank E. Nelson, step grandfather, Leroy Acord, and grandmother, Maureta S. Nelson precedes Chris in death. Chris graduated from Danville High School in 1999, and attended DACC. He was presently a chef at Jims Bristo while residing in the Peoria Heights area over the past 3 years. He was a member of the Second Church of Christ in Danville, an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Illini Fan, and also enjoying basketball, and pool.
