Christopher Hill

Christopher Hill, 37, died of colon cancer on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home in Champaign. Chris was born on December 13, 1975 in Fairfax County, VA, to Jack and Judy Hill who currently reside in Indianapolis, IN. Also surviving is his brother, Tim Hill, of Okemos, MI. Chris graduated from North Central High School, Indianapolis. He earned a BS degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Purdue University. Chris worked at Wolfram Research as a Software Developer for nearly 13 years. He was a proud supporter of the Art Theater Cooperative and frequent attendee at Ebertfest. Chris will be fondly remembered for his love and knowledge of movies, his interest and skill in computer graphics programming, and his overall gentle nature. A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center Champaign Urbana Chapel, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign. An additional visitation will be held at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN on Saturday, May 18 from 11:30-12:00, Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 followed by interment.
