Christopher Alan Burchett

Danville, Ill. - Christopher Alan Burchett, 35, of Danville, left this world way too early on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home.

Christopher was born June 16, 1986 in Danville, Illinois the son of Wayne and Phyllis (Finney) Burchett of Perrysville, Indiana. They survive.

Other survivors include his Fianc: Sherri Reed of Danville, Illinois; two daughters: Brennyn Hartman of Westville, Illinois and Haley Reed of Danville, Illinois; granddaughter: Remi Cole Haton of Danville, Illinois; birth mother: Melissa Winkler of Paris, Illinois; two sisters: Wendy (William) Boyles of Altoona, Pennsylvania and Melissa (William) Winkler of Paris, Illinois; three brothers: Scott (Amanda) Burchett of Danville, Illinois; Douglas (Lisa) Burchett of Covington, Indiana and Kyle (Courtney) Burchett of Cayuga, Indiana; grandmother: Sandra McCool of Cayuga, Indiana, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Christopher was currently employed at All Source in Oakwood, Illinois. He was a graduate of North Vermillion High School and attended John Logan Community College in Carbondale, Illinois. Christopher enjoyed spending time with his family, dirt bike racing, and working with his hands. He was a talker and didn't know a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. Christopher would do anything for anyone. His favorite quote was 'It'll Be Alright.'

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m. EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Cremation will be accorded. Contribution may be made to Vibrant Emotional Health, Attention: Development; 50 Broadway, FL 19, New York, New York 10004.
