Christina Sue Howlett

Christina Sue "Tina" Howlett passed away on April 25, 2017 at home. She was born to George and Margaret (Peggy) Howlett at Lakeview Hospital in Danville on November 11, 1948. Tina had RH and cerebral palsy at birth. She attended Kindergarten and schools in Georgetown and was a weaver at Hooton Handicap School. She also won medals in the Special Olympics. She loved Nascar racing and especially Dale Earnhart, Jr. Surviving are her mother, Peggy and brother Michael (Linda); her cousins, Craig (Amy) Schmoyer of California; Brad (Jan) and Kevin (Donna) Schmoyer of Pennsylvania; two nieces, Kelly Jo Knol, Kelly (Ray) Marones; three great nephews Justin Marones, Logan and Wyatt Knol. Also a great niece Evalyn Knol. She was preceded in death by her father, George, Aunt Doris (Bill) Schmoyer and also by her grandparents. A celebration of life for Tina will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion in Danville. Jan Reeder will be officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Tina's name to Farmer's Chapel United Methodist Church.
