Danville - Christina M. Landers, 58, of Danville, IL passed away at 9:13 PM on Monday March 6, 2017 at her home. Christina was born on July 27, 1958 the daughter of Leeroy and Ona (Stonebraker) Mornout in Danville, IL. She married Tim Landers on July 8, 2006 in Independence, IN and he survives of Danville, IL. Survivors include her husband, Tim Landers of Danville, IL one son, Miles (Shelby) Starkey of Danville, IL, one step-daughter, Morgan Landers of Danville, IL, one brother, Charles (Charlene) Mornout of Bismarck, IL, five grandchildren, Caleb, Kylee, Keegan, Karlee and Keelan, three step-grandchildren, Seth, River and Brycen, one niece, Erin (Alex) Dayvolt of Newburgh, IN, one nephew, Justin (Sarah) Mornout, Bismarck, IL, her baby, "Earl", two partners in crime, Marka Woolwine and Sue Mitchell, special friend, Valerie Shelton as well as many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Christina was raised in Covington, IN and a 1976 graduate of Covington High School. She was in the top of her class at DACC and attended Harrison College in Terre Haute. She was a Licensed Beautician, a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for L.W.'s Place in Champaign, IL as well as worked at Gutterridge Harley-Davidson in Danville, IL and cleaned homes. Christina loved riding her Harley Sportster. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM EST (1:00 PM CST) on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Covington Chapel, 420 Third Street in Covington, IN. Alex Dayvolt will officiate. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services and Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM EST (10:00 AM - 1:00 PM CST) Saturday March 11, 2017 at the funeral home in Covington.
