Chris L. Pavlick

Danville Christopher Lee "Chris" Pavlick, 46, of Danville passed away at 11:05 AM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home. He was born April 19, 1976 in Danville to Douglas Mark Frost and Debra Jo Pavlick. He married Jennifer Lyn New, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by a son, Brandon (Samantha) Pavlick of Danville; two grandchildren, Lillian Rose and Joseph Ray; mother Debra Pavlick; and a sister, Nicole (Dennis) Elliott.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, Doug Frost; maternal grandparents Joseph and Lavinia Pavlick; and his Uncle Gary.

Chris was a jack-of-all trades and loved to learn new skills. He worked as a machinist for Danville Metal Stamping for many years and was a talented woodworker in his spare time. He was also a jokester who specialized in "Dad Jokes." Many of his friends will know Chris from his love of shooting pool which he played in the area for over 20 years.

A service to celebrate the life of Chris Pavlick will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL, 61834. Ken Pavlick will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 1, also at Sunset in Danville.
