Chris L. Dunham

Danville, Ill. - Chris L. Dunham, 58, of Danville, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018.

He was born December 25, 1959 in Danville, Illinois the son of Melvin and Gertrude (Webb) Dunham.

Survivors include his mother: Gertrude Dunham of Danville, Illinois; twin sister: Chrystal (Tony) Keller of Arcadia, Indiana; niece: Abigail Keller of Arcadia, Indiana, and nephews: Timothy (Bethany) Keller of Terre Haute, Indiana; Jeremy Keller and Samuel Keller both of Arcadia, Indiana.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Dunham.

Chris retired in April 2014 as a prison guard at the Danville Correctional Center in Danville, Illinois. He was a 1978 graduate of Westville High School. A member of the N.R.A., Chris enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, reading, history (war) and researching.

Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. EDT Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Coal Branch Church in rural Perrysville, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Tracy Taulman; Visitation: 10 a.m. EDT Thursday, July 19, 2018 until time of services at the church. Cremation was accorded. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
