Cayuga, Ind. -- Chester R. Maze, 86, of Cayuga, passed away at 5 p.m. EDT Friday (October 27, 2006) at his residence in Cayuga. He was born November 21, 1919, in Flat Rock, Indiana, the son of the late Carl Maze. He married Gladys K. Cox in 1944. She survives. Other survivors include: one son, Richard(Nancy)Moore of Cayuga, Indiana; three daughters, Rosann(William)Hart of Tampa, Florida; Cathy(Bob)Sedam of Anderson, Indiana and Carolyn(Bob)Brumley of Martinsville, Indiana; 23 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Chester retired from the maintenance department at Link Belt Incorporated in Indianapolis. He attended the Family New Life Center in Rockville, Indiana. Chester enjoyed woodworking and making ceramic crafts. Graveside services and burial: 10 a.m. EST Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Cliff Farley; Family request contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley, 400 8TH Avenue, Terre Haute, Indiana 47804. There will be no visitation.
