Cheryl J. Pruitt

Covington, Ind. - Cheryl J. Pruitt, 63, of Covington, passed away at 11:55 p.m. EDT Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born August 30, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Jackie Bell Case and Howard Weese. Survivors include her children, Melody(Mark)Potter and Josh(Jessica)Pruitt both of Covington, Indiana; six grandchildren, Chellsee; Andi; Kyli; Nolan; Myles and Zaydin; one sister, Peggy(Robert)Sams of Covington, Indiana; two brothers, Steve(Astrid)Weese of Fulda, Germany and Curt(Sue)Weese of Hudson, Wisconsin. Cheryl was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Weese and two brothers, Randy and Kevin Weese. Cheryl was a secretary at the Covington Christian School and West Liberty Church of Christ. She was a member of the West Liberty Church of Christ and a 1968 graduate of Danville High School. Cheryl enjoyed reading her bible, baking, raising flowers and going out with her friends(Affectionally known as the Toads)to restaurants and shopping.
