Cheri L. Lawrence

Danville- Cheri Lynn Lawrence, 49, of Danville passed away at 1:55 AM on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born on March 5, 1962 in Danville to William F. and Charlene D. Decker Good. She is survived by four daughters, Charla Lawrence of Tilton, Cintarire (Ted) Coon of Danville, Candice Rice of Danville, and Kristin Rice also of Danville; 6 grandchildren, Emily and Peyton Wireman and Kassiopeia, Cauis, Cloie, and Cintarire, Jr. Coon; and friends Nora Rice, Tamie Bays, and Pam Kirts. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Irvin Lee Garrison, and niece Stacy Garrison. Cheri was a member at Abundant Life Church in Danville. She drove the church bus and helped out whenever possible. Cheri also collected angels, but most importantly loved to spend time with her friends, family, and grandchildren. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to Carle Hospice for their care and support. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Cheri Lawrence will be held at 5 PM on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Abundant Life Church in Danville. Pastor James Ford will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date at Danville National Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded at Sunset Funeral Home and Crematory, a Life Celebration Home in Danville.
