Chase Thomas Holt

Chase Thomas Holt, 28, of Danville passed away on March 18, 2023. He was born on May 20, 1994 in Danville to Julie Baker Holt and Scott Holt. He graduated from Hoopeston Area High School with the Class of 2013. He most recently worked at the Hoopeston Post Office.

He is survived by his partner Jacki Rodriguez of Hoopeston and their daughter Emilia Rose Holt; his parents Scott and Jody Holt of Dandridge, TN and Julie Holt of Danville; and siblings Aimee (Eric) Olson, Christopher "Scotty" (Wella) Holt, Joshua Bailey, Nicole Wyatt, and Sadie Holt. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family that he loved dearly. He was a wonderful, loving father who had the most contagious laughter.

Chase enjoyed hiking and was almost always listening to music. He enjoyed sports, especially when it came to watching Virginia Tech play.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A visitation will be held to celebrate Chases life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 5- 8 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion Street in Danville.
