Charlotte Melville

Charlotte Lou Louise Melville, 92, of Danville, passed away at 12:10pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 12, 1914 in New Albany, Indiana the daughter of Virginia and John Stewart. She married Ross Melville in New Port Richey, Florida. Charlotte is survived by her nephews; Charles (Irene) Mercer of Oakwood, Stewart (Cindy) Mercer of Danville, John S. (Kazuko) Stewart of California and Jim G. ( Lisa) Stewart of Champaign; several great nieces and nephews. Sister in law Virginia Stewart of Danville. Charlotte was employed with General Electric in the accounting department. She was a long time member of the DanGE Club, and enjoyed golfing, bowling, the Elks Club and most of all her dogs. She will be missed for her vibrant spirit and love of life. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Glen and Charles Stewart, niece Ann Klick, sister Jacqueline Mercer, and nieces Bobette, Colleen and Ellen Mercer. A celebration of Charlottes life will be held on Saturday, October 21,2006 at 10:00am at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Rev. Dr. Jimmie Hopper officiating.
