Charlotte M Hart

Charlotte Hart, 96, of Westville, was called home to heaven on January 22, 2022, to reunite with her husband, Paul and her three sons, Paul Jr, Larry, and Richard Hart. Charlotte was born on February 27, 1925, to John and Helen (Becker) Sliva of Georgetown. Beside her husband and three sons, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, John, and Jacob Sliva.

Surviving is her sister, Betty Porcheddu of Indianapolis, Indiana; niece, Scarlett (Stan) Melecosky of Westville; nephew, Steve (Karen) Sliva of Georgetown; her special friends, Betty Ingrum and DiAnn Cottle of Westville.

Charlotte worked at various jobs including, General Electric and Danville Area Community College. She loved traveling and camping while her boys were growing up. Charlotte was a member of the Westville American Legion Auxiliary and Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and most of all, she loved to cook for her boys. Charlotte loved and lost many friends and relatives in her 96 years. She was very grateful for her friends and neighbors who brought her food when she was incapable of cooking and the home care takers who were so thoughtful and kind to her. Charlotte was a very sweet lady.

A Celebration of Charlottes life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 311 Moses Ave, Westville, Illinois, with David Roberts-Mosser officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service at the church. She will be laid to rest at McKendree Cemetery.
