Charlotte Ann (Brown) Kempf, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga, IL.
Charlotte, known as "Lottie" to many, was born on January, 29th, 1946 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Bernal and Mary (Nixon) Brown. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Michael) Kallis; four grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley) Kallis, Alyssa (Nicholas) Schultz, Aryel (Lucas) Perring, and Abby Kallis; two great grandchildren, Maverick and Hayes Kallis; brother, Harlan (Lynn) Brown; nephew, Christopher Brown; and great niece, Eryn Brown.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and her brother, Glen Brown.
Charlotte touched many lives with her loving personality and beautiful smile. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She spoiled them, as well as their fur "babies", as much as possible. She loved to cook meals for others and play cards and games with family and friends.
Everyone that knew her could tell how much she loved the Lord and inspired others with her Christian heart. She will be sadly missed by her family and all that knew her.
Services honoring her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Rod Godly. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
