Charlotte Humrichous

Charlotte M. Humrichous 83 of Georgetown went to be with her lord and savior at 2:37 a.m. Friday August 15, 2008 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman. She was born July 22, 1925 the daughter of Carle and Hazel McCord Pringle. Charlotte married Gordon W. Humrichous October 9, 1943 in Columbia, Mo; he preceded her in December 22, 1978. Those who will miss her are two sons; Joe (Teresa) Humrichous of West Lebanon, IN, Jim (Teri) Humrichous of Chrisman, her grandchildren; Jason (Jennifer) Humrichous, JoHanna (Bob) Thurlow, Jewel (John) Harkleroad, Jill (Greg) Wiesert, Jared Tarquini, Molly (Frank) Mulholland, Seth, Wyatt and Anna Humrichous, also Ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and Daughter in-law DiAnne. Charlotte was a farmers wife, homemaker and loving mother, in her early years she drove a school bus route for Wingard and Georgetown school district for ten years. She also was a personal house cleaner for many years. Charlotte was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Georgetown for 52 years, also teaching the kindergarten Sunday school class and loved to decorate the Church building for all occasions. She loved sports especially Illini basketball and the Olympics. Her hobbies were crafts, sewing and working in her yard and garden. Special thanks to the caring staff at Pleasant meadows Christian Village for their faithful service in the last months of her life She Loved You All A celebration of life funeral service for Charlotte M. Humrichous will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday August 18, 2008 at Bethel Baptist Church 501 S.Main St. in Georgetown, IL With Pastor Gerald McPhillips officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 3-7 p.m.Monday at the church prior to the service. Private family burial will be Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Georgetown cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Pleasant Meadows Christian Village. Condolences to Charlottes family can be made at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
