Charlotte E. Duprey

GEORGETOWN - Charlotte E. Nanny Duprey, 74, passed away at 5:26pm, Wednesday, March 14th, 2007, at Provena USMC. She was born on December 31st, 1932, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Emett and Daisy Marie (Johnson) Baldwin, both preceded her in death. Survivors include: her children, Johnny (Robin) Duprey of Danville, Terry Baird of Florida, Michael Wayne (Tina) Duprey of Bismarck, Randy Duprey of Danville, Kathy (Tom) Pridemore of Tucson, AZ, Patty (William) Marana of Danville, & Jackie (Mike) Jones of Danville; her fifteen grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; and several friends from Vermilion House. Her husband, Jack Duprey, her son, Mark Duprey, and four brothers preceded Charlotte in death. Charlotte had attended DACC where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree on July 15th, 1981, and had worked at Lakeview Medical Center. She also was employed at the VA Medical Center and then she retired in 1986. She also fostered VA patients for 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed Bingo, fishing, listening to her scanner, going out to eat for shrimp, and working word search puzzles. A celebration of Charlottes life will be 10:00am, Monday, March 19th, 2007, at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Raymie Gordon will officiate. Visitation will be 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, March 18th, 2007, at Sunset Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
