Charlotte A. Racz

Danville - Charlotte A. Racz, 85, of Danville, passed away at 9:52 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2020, at her home surrounded by family.

Charlotte was born March 12, 1935, in Hoopeston, IL., the daughter of Charles and Myrtle Winters. She married Joseph E. Racz on January 20, 1966 in Pairs, IL and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2019.

Charlotte is survived by her four daughters Diane Link (Wayne Campbell), Karen Lomax, MaryAnn (Rick) Kindred and Kimberly (Chris) Andracki; grandchildren, Robert (Joey)(Lola) Winters, Christopher (Joanna) Racz, Caleb Kindred, Matthew Racz, Briana (Andy Clayburn) Kindred, Edmund Andracki, Ariel Lomax, Douglas Andracki, Joseph Lomax; and two great-grandchild, Jaden Winters and Liberty Collom. Also survived by three brothers and one sister.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Charlotte retired from Danville Area Community College. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping, cooking, square dancing, crossword puzzles, and being with family.

Private family services will be held and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements. Pastor Keith Klossner will officiate. Burial will be with her late husband, Joe, in Danville National Cemetery.
