Charles Charlie' Tuggle, 78, of Georgetown, lost his battle to cancer on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. He was born on February 18, 1940, to Emery and Mary {Kurkendall} Tuggle. He married Marilyn S. Knight on June 11, 1960. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage. She will miss him dearly. He leaves behind: his wife, Marilyn; his dog and best friend, Peanut; his four children, Cheryl (Rick) Black, Jerry (Lori) Tuggle, Chuck Tuggle, & Kim Tuggle-Bennett; his grandchildren, Amber Pearson, Nathan (Mandi) Pearson, Brandon (Amy) Tuggle, Brody (Brooke) Tuggle, Broc Tuggle, & Bryce Bennett; his great grandchildren, Ostin Merchant, Haylee Watson, Carson Collom, Olivia, Maddi, & Ethan Pearson, Emery Tuggle, & Amelia Tuggle; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-brother, Herman Tuggle, and his dog of 9 years, Scooby. Charlie worked for Sunbeam for 39 years. He was known around town as the "Bread Man". He also rolled & mowed yards in the summers. He was always happy to have the grandkids help him mow, help take care of his pigs, & split wood. He was his kids & grandkids Number 1 Supporter in sports and always attended their games. Baseball was his favorite one to go to and he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. If he couldn't catch the game on TV, he would breakout his am radio and listen to it. A few times the power would go off and he could be found in his truck listening to the game. He was so excited to see the Cubs win the World Series. Charlie's favorite activities after retirement was sitting at the table drinking his coffee working on his crossword puzzles, reading the paper, watching tv, playing Uno & Aggravation with his grandkids & great grandkids, and playing Euchre at family gatherings. He was the "Breadwinner" of the family and was always there to help his family in everyway he could. He will be greatly missed beyond words.
