Charles J. Stark

Charles J. Stark, 68, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:39am, Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at his home. He was born to Chester Paul and Elizabeth Jane {Hubbard} Stark on March 7, 1944, in Danville, IL. He was united in marriage to Lula M. Powell on July 16, 1965, in Olivet, IL. She will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his daughters, Sherry (Brent) Scott of Sandusky, OH, Sheila (Greg) Burton of Crawfordsville, IN, Lisa (Shane) Kelley of Georgetown, Teresa (Jake) Biggs of Lynnville, IN, & Lauretta Stark of Georgetown; his 15 grandchildren; his four great grandchildren; and his sisters, Dorothy Meek of Texas, Kay (Randy) Reffett of Texas, & Jeanette McCallister of Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his grandson, Lance Scott; and his brother, Paul Stark. Charles was a member of the Labor Local #624. He enjoyed remodeling and going fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. A celebration of Charles' life will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, November 26, 2012, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be 3pm-6pm, Sunday, November 25, 2012, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Carle Hospice Care or Community Care Cris Senior Services.
